Dump truck driver injured in North Carolina road rage shooting, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A dump truck driver was shot as two drivers have been engaged in a street rage incident on Duraleigh Highway on Wednesday, police stated.
Round 11 a.m., police stated a dump truck ran a pink mild which led the driving force of a dark-colored VW Passat to comply with the truck.
Sooner or later in the course of the confrontation, the dump truck driver pulled out a gun and fired on the VW, police stated.
The motive force of the VW then shot again on the dump truck – hanging the truck driver within the leg, police stated.
The capturing occurred close to the 4800 block of Duraleigh Highway – which is simply north of the intersection with Ebenezer Church Highway.
The incident is underneath investigation.
Sylvester Stokes, 52, of Lucama was arrested and charged within the capturing, Raleigh police confirmed.
He has been charged with assault with a lethal weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by a felon.
