College football freshman QB dies in North Carolina crash

Terrible information to cross alongside out of North Carolina: Will Patterson, a quarterback at Ferrum School, has handed after a reported crash.

Ferrum School’s soccer workforce introduced the tragic passing of Patterson Sunday through social media.

Ferrum is a personal faculty in Virginia. The soccer workforce competes on the Division III degree. Patterson’s Ferrum bio lists him as a freshman QB from Sanford, North Carolina out of Lee County Excessive College.

A faculty spokesperson advised Jeff Sturgeon of The Roanoke Instances that Patterson handed away on account of a visitors accident Saturday in Lee County, North Carolina. Additional particulars of the crash weren’t relayed to The Roanoke Instances.

Ferrum athletic director John Sutyak advised the paper that Patterson was not on the journey roster for the workforce’s latest sport and was again dwelling this weekend.

“Robust to interrupt the information to the workforce after the sport,” Sutyak advised Sturgeon Sunday. “My complete focus is on the workforce and the teaching workers. It’s an enormous, shut household, so it’s a troublesome day.”
