A Chick-fil-A in North Carolina has been fined $6,450 for paying employees with meals as a substitute of cash and violating baby labor legal guidelines, the Division of Labor has introduced.
An investigation by the DOL discovered that at a Chick-Fil-A in Hendersonville, N.C., three staff underneath 18 had been assigned hazardous duties, corresponding to working, loading and unloading the trash compactor.
