What to know about June 7 primary, general election day in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Polls for the June 7 Main and Common Elections in Mississippi will open at 7:00 a.m. and shut at 7:00 p.m. The poll options candidates for the U.S. Home of Representatives. 

Tuesday, June 7, can be Board of Mississippi Levee Commissioners Common Election Day for Bolivar, Humphreys, Sharkey and Washington counties. Voters are inspired to contact their county Circuit Clerk’s Workplace to view a Common Election pattern poll earlier than heading to the polls.  

Any voter in line at 7:00 p.m. is legally entitled to solid a poll. Voters are inspired to confirm their polling place with their native Circuit Clerk earlier than Election Day. As a reminder, the Secretary of State’s Workplace has no enforcement authority over election-related points.
