Sheriff: Man Wanted in Florida Dies in Mississippi Shooting
BRANDON, Miss. (AP) — A person wished in a Florida kidnapping took his personal life Monday after exchanging gunfire with legislation enforcement officers in central Mississippi, a sheriff stated.
Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey informed information shops that the person was pulled over for rushing on Interstate 20 close to Brandon, about 12 miles (19 kilometers) east of Mississippi’s capital metropolis of Jackson.
Bailey stated deputies found after that they had stopped the person that he was wished in Florida for kidnapping and was thought of armed and harmful.
Bailey stated the person and the deputies exchanged gunfire earlier than the person fatally shot himself. Authorities didn’t instantly launch his identify.
Bailey stated two kids within the man’s automobile weren’t damage, and no deputies have been injured.
