Search and Rescue Crews Searching for Missing Boater in Mississippi River

The Louisiana Division of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Enforcement Division together with different search and rescue crews are at the moment looking for a lacking boater within the Mississippi River in East Baton Rouge Parish after his boat sunk on June 8.

LDWF brokers acquired a name round 5 p.m. on June 8 a few lacking boater within the Mississippi River close to Baton Rouge.

LDWF brokers together with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Workplace and the U.S. Coast Guard instantly responded to the scene and searched till darkish final night time.  They resumed the search at daylight this morning.

LDWF would be the lead investigative company for this boating incident.  It’s unknown presently what induced the 16-foot-vessel to sink.
