MSU GEM GRAD Lab events set for Sept. 16-17

Mississippi State will host the GEM Getting Prepared for Superior Levels Lab, a free and interesting symposium for underrepresented college students enthusiastic about pursuing graduate levels in utilized science and engineering, Sept. 16 and 17.

Through the occasion, college students will community with present MSU college and graduate college students, be taught from trade executives and achieve perception into graduate examine alternatives on the college, together with the admissions course of and funding potentialities.  

College and present MSU graduate college students will lead excursions of their analysis labs 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sept. 16. They may also host a poster session and mixer 4-5:30 p.m. on the second ground of the Colvard Scholar Union that very same day and can meet potential college students over lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sept. 17. MSU graduate Nashlie Sephus, the founding father of the nonprofit Bean Path and proprietor and developer of the Jackson Tech District, will function the lunch’s visitor speaker.
