Monticello 16-year-old to compete for Miss Mississippi Teen USA

Sixteen-year-old Addison Carver, of Monticello, will compete for the title of Miss Mississippi Teen USA March 30-April 1 at Pearl River Resort in Choctaw.

Carver is the daughter of Dwayne and Kristi Carney and the late Chuck Carver. A sophomore at Lawrence County Excessive College, she is a varsity cheerleader, BETA Membership member, Scholar Council consultant, Diamond Doll, and member of the Future Well being Professionals (HOSA).

Carver was chosen as Freshman Magnificence by her classmates; and as Freshman Magnificence, Freshman Most Photogenic, Sophomore Magnificence and Sophomore Most Photogenic on the Lawrence County Magnificence Evaluate. She is a dancer at Present Stoppers Studio of Dance, the place she is a member of the nationwide award-winning Aggressive Firm, in addition to a pupil instructor.

Following the loss of life of her father when Carver was 13, she developed her group Dance To Empower. She has made it her mission to maintain dancing whereas sharing her love for dance with others and inspiring everybody to search out one thing they’re passionate sufficient about that may assist them by no matter they could face in life.

The pageant is the official preliminary to the Miss Teen USA pageant. The teenager chosen as Miss Mississippi Teen USA will advance to compete within the Miss Teen USA pageant.
