Mississippi to receive $15M to reduce transportation emissions

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – On Thursday, April 21, the U.S. Division of Transportation’s Federal Freeway Administration introduced a brand new program that unlocks $6.4 billion in components funding for states and localities over 5 years.

The brand new Carbon Discount Program (CRP), created underneath the President’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation, will assist states develop state carbon discount methods and deal with the local weather disaster.
