Mississippi to be well represented in Super Bowl LVII

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A number of skilled athletes will sport the pleasure of the Magnolia State within the 2023 NFL Tremendous Bowl.

After the result of the NFC and AFC Championship video games, 11 NFL soccer gamers both from the state or who performed school soccer in Mississippi will take part in Tremendous Bowl LVII as members of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs.

Eight athletes play for the Eagles whereas three play for the Chiefs.

All 4 of the previous Mississippi State Bulldogs play on the defensive facet of the ball, which incorporates defensive lineman Fletcher Cox, a Yazoo Metropolis native, and cornerback Darius Slay for Philadelphia and Starkville, Mississippi native, linebacker Willie Homosexual and Houston, Mississippi native Chris Jones characterize Kansas Metropolis.

Eagles’ extensive receiver A.J. Brown is the lone former Ole Miss Rebels and is mockingly from Starkville. One other Eagles extensive receiver, Terrance “Quez” Watkins, performed school soccer for the College of Southern Mississippi.

Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive lineman Cameron Tom is a former Southern Miss Golden Eagle as properly.

Philadelphia working again Kenneth Gainwell’s hometown is Yazoo Metropolis, Mississippi with Darius Harris of the Chiefs and Nakobe Dean of the Eagles representing Horn Lake, Mississippi.

Brandon, Mississippi native Gardner Minshew rounds out the astounding 8 members of the Philadelphia Eagles representing the state.

All 9 athletes will compete for an opportunity to carry the Lombardi Trophy on Sunday, February 12, at 5:30 p.m. The Tremendous Bowl will likely be performed at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, dwelling of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals.

The competition will likely be aired in your native Fox station.
