LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State’s vice chairman for analysis and financial improvement was on the Communiversity Tuesday to advertise the partnership between MSU and East Mississippi Neighborhood School.

Julie Jordan says that the Communiversity has already realized its function as a pressure for financial progress within the area by supporting and offering job coaching throughout all types of disciplines. It’s an effort that Jordan says MSU continues to help. She says that State lately established a brand new program known as the Bachelor of Utilized Science, which permits any EMCC graduate with a technical diploma to switch to MSU and earn a bachelor’s diploma with out dropping any of their credit.

“When firms come to go to Mississippi State or they arrive to go to the (Golden Triangle Improvement LINK) or they arrive to go to any of the regional communities, that is the place we carry them,” she says. “We present them that that is the sort of first-class facility that (you’ll be able to construct). If you’ll come right here, your staff will be educated, pre-screened, and we will develop partnerships. If the Communiversity must do the coaching, they will do it, if Mississippi State College must carry higher-level superior manufacturing methods to the method, we’re right here to try this a part of the method.”

Jordan says the Communiversity has turn into a neighborhood showcase for what firms can count on by investing in and collaborating with others within the Golden Triangle.
