Mississippi State football’s Braedyn Locke, a former 4-star QB, enters transfer portal

As Mississippi State soccer coach Zach Arnett prepares to assemble a brand new offensive workers, he is misplaced his first offensive participant to the switch portal. Braedyn Locke, a former four-star prospect out of highschool, introduced Tuesday he is departing this system after one season.

Locke was closely recruited by Mike Leach − MSU’s earlier coach, who died on Dec. 12 after problems from a coronary heart situation. Locke has 4 years of eligibility remaining.

“I wish to say thanks to everybody that made this previous yr at Mississippi State potential for me,” Locke wrote in a tweet. “I really like my teammates and I am so grateful for my time and expertise in Starkville.”

Locke joined MSU out of Rockwall Excessive College in Rockwall, Texas. He didn’t play this season and acquired a redshirt.
