STARKVILLE — Mississippi State’s baseball game Tuesday versus Southern Miss at Dudy Noble Field has been rescheduled because of inclement weather.

The Bulldogs (7-4) and No. 22 Golden Eagles (9-3) will play Wednesday with no change to the first pitch time (4 p.m., SEC Network+).

Severe weather is expected across Mississippi on Tuesday. Ole Miss canceled its game against Southeastern Louisiana.

Southern Miss blanked Mississippi State 3-0 on Feb. 18 in Hattiesburg. This is the first time Southern Miss will play in Starkville since 2019.

The Bulldogs are 0-4 against teams with a winning record and lost two of three games last weekend in the Astros Foundation College Classic.

Southern Miss won two of its three games at TCU last weekend.

The Mississippi State men’s basketball game at Humphrey Coliseum is still scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday.
