Mississippi Sports Museum announces 2022 C Spire Conerly trophy nominees

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi Sports activities Corridor of Fame and Museum introduced the ten nominees for the C Spire Conerly Trophy Monday afternoon.

The Conerly Trophy is an award given to essentially the most excellent school soccer participant within the state of Mississippi chosen by every school and college with a soccer program.

This 12 months’s nominees are:

• Alcorn State College – Jarveon Howard (Working Again)
• Belhaven College – Connor Fordham (Linebacker)
• Delta State College – Patrick Shegog (Quarterback)
• Jackson State College – Shedeur Sanders (Quarterback)
• Millsaps Faculty – Moïse Tezzo (Huge Receiver/Kick Returner)
• Mississippi Faculty – Marcus Williams (Working Again)
• Mississippi State College – Emmanuel Forbes, Jr. (Defensive Again)
• Mississippi Valley State College – Ronnie Thomas (Defensive Lineman)
• College of Mississippi – Quinshon Judkins (Working Again)
• College of Southern Mississippi – Jason Brownlee (Huge Receiver)

This 12 months’s winner will turn out to be the twenty seventh recipient for the reason that program began in 1996. The award is voted on by a panel of media and NFL scouts who cowl school soccer within the state.

The 2022 C Spire Conerly winner shall be introduced throughout a presentation on the Nation Membership of Jackson on November 29.
