Mississippi officer found passed out in patrol car with meth pipe in his hand

YAZOO CITY, Miss. (WLBT) – An officer was arrested after being found with a meth pipe in his patrol car.

The Belzoni officer, who has been identified as James Jackson, was arrested by Yazoo City police on October 5.

According to Yazoo City Police Chief Terry Gann, officers found Jackson passed out in a patrol car with the meth pipe in his hand.

Marijuana was also found in the glovebox.

After refusing a sobriety test, Jackson was charged with possession of paraphernalia and DUI refusal.

He has since been released on bond.
