JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WKRG) — A Mississippi man has died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

According to an MHP news release, troopers were called to the scene of a crash around 3 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 10 in Jackson County.

Officers learned that a 2017 Kawasaki ZR90, driven by 26-year-old Christian Villa of Gulfport, was traveling west on Interstate 10 when it left the road and overturned, ejecting Villa from the motorcycle.

Villa died at the scene.

MHP is still investigating the crash.
