3. Hernando (22-6) – The Tigers cruised to a 11- victory over South Panola Tuesday. Senior Julia Shaw had 5 hits — together with a house run  — and 6 RBIs within the victory.

4. Kosciusko (24-3) – The Whippets cruised to a 15-0 victory over Union Tuesday. Seniors Lizzie Kate Jones and Maicee Coleman mixed for six RBIs. 

5. Petal (18-2) – The Panthers completed the season on a five-game profitable streak together with a 4-1 victory over Oak Grove Tuesday. 

6. Saltillo (19-2) – The Tigers ended the common season on nine-game profitable streak and can face Cleveland Central within the first spherical of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs.

7. Lewisburg (22-6) – The Patriots rolled to a 10-0 victory over Brighton (Tennessee) and defeated Clinton within the first spherical of the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs. Junior Casey Raggett had a no-hitter in 5 innings with three strikeouts.

8. Sumrall (21-6) – The Bobcats defeated Poplarville 12-2 Monday and West Jones 10-4 Thursday. Eight graders Ella Robertson and Ashton Stringfellow mixed for 5 hits and 4 RBIs in Thursday’s win. 

9. Mantachie (20-6) – The Mustangs responded to Monday’s 6-4 loss to Kossuth with a two-game sweep of Winona. Mantachie outscored Winona 32-0.

10. East Union (20-3) – The Urchins prolonged their 17-game profitable streak with a 2-0 victory over Pontotoc Thursday. Seventh grader Lucy Cochran allowed one hit with 12 strikeouts in seven innings.
