Mississippi Disaster Recovery Centers to be closed for Easter Sunday – SuperTalk Mississippi

The Federal Emergency Administration Company has introduced that Catastrophe Restoration Facilities in Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe, and Sharkey counties will likely be closed Sunday, April 9 in honor of Easter.

The next DRCs will reopen Monday, April 10 at 7 a.m.

DRCs are central areas the place survivors from the latest tornadoes that killed 21 can communicate with specialists from FEMA, the Mississippi Emergency Administration Company, and the U.S. Small Enterprise Administration.

For twister victims in want of Easter lunch, the American Pink Cross will likely be providing meals on the following areas on Sunday.

  • Rolling Fork (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): South Delta Center Faculty. 86 Center Faculty Street, Anguilla, MS
  • Yazoo Metropolis (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Hampton Inn. 2162 Grand Avenue Yazoo Metropolis, MS
  • Silver Metropolis (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Silver Metropolis Put up Workplace. 63 West Road Silver Metropolis, MS
  • Greenville (1 p.m. to three p.m.): Days Inn, Specific Method Inn. 2500 Freeway 82E Greenville, MS
  • Amory (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Previous Amory. 101 South ninth Road Amory, MS
