Miss Mississippi wins Fitness Preliminary Competition Wednesday night

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The first night of preliminary competition for Miss Mississippi at Miss America ends with a big win Wednesday night.

Vivian O’Neal was joined by Miss Maryland and Miss Tennessee as Preliminary Fitness Winners Wednesday Night.(Miss Mississippi)

Vivian O’Neal wins in fitness. She also competed in On Stage Question and Evening Gown.

O’Neal and Miss Mississippi’s Teen Nataleigh Nix arrived in Orlando for the national competition on Saturday. O’Neal will compete in Talent on Thursday night. She will be dancing.

Miss Mississippi competes in the Talent Preliminary Thursday night. She hopes to become the fifth young woman from this state to win Miss America.(Miss Mississippi)

Miss Mississippi won a $3,000 scholarship for the Fitness Preliminary Competition.
