MDA announces V-QUAD Entrepreneurs Technical Assistance Program grant winners

5 candidates have been awarded $20,000 V-Quad ETAP grants.

On Monday, the Mississippi Improvement Authority (MDA) introduced the 2022 V-Quad Entrepreneurs Technical Help Program grant award winners. 5 candidates have been awarded $20,000 V-Quad ETAP grants in collaboration with MDA’s Workplace of Know-how, Innovation & Entrepreneurship and MDA’s Vitality and Pure Assets Division. 

MDA Deputy Govt Director Laura Hipp stated MDA congratulates the winners of those grants, and so they stay up for the success of those tasks.

“This subsequent era of innovators and entrepreneurs is the way forward for trade and can assist construct stronger communities and a stronger financial system for Mississippi,” Hipp stated.


Winners of the 2022 V-Quad ETAP grants embody:

  • C & H Security and Safety
  • Faculty of Structure, Artwork and Design, Mississippi State College
  • JEF Superior Applied sciences
  • Division of Sustainable Bioproducts, Mississippi State College
  • A-Z Farmer’s Market Challenge

“The grants might be utilized by the 5 groups to obtain technical help from one among Mississippi’s 4 analysis universities – the College of Mississippi, Mississippi State College, Jackson State College and the College of Southern Mississippi,” MDA stated in a launch. “Groups receiving ETAP grants might be paired with a related analysis college to unravel particular technical challenges posed by the candidates.”

The 5 groups could have as much as 9 months from the award date to finish their proposed duties.
