Man walking across Mississippi highway killed when hit by car Tuesday night – Magnolia State Live

A Mississippi man who was strolling throughout the freeway was killed when he was hit by a automotive Tuesday evening.

At roughly 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, the Mississippi Freeway Patrol responded to a deadly crash on Freeway 7 in Lafayette County involving a pedestrian.

A 2020 Toyota RAV 4 pushed by 78-year-old Mark Could of Oxford traveled south on Freeway 7. Keith D. Knight, 47, of Water Valley, Mississippi, was strolling east throughout Freeway 7.

The Toyota RAV 4 collided with Keith D. Knight, who obtained deadly accidents from the crash and was pronounced useless at a neighborhood hospital.

Mark Could and Gregory Could, 41, of Water Valley (a passenger within the Toyota) weren’t injured and have been launched on the scene.

This crash stays below investigation by the Mississippi Freeway Patrol.
