Lightning strike strips bark off tree in Mississippi
HAMILTON, Miss. — This tree’s bark was worse for put on after experiencing the chunk of a lightning strike.

In a Fb publish on Saturday, the Nationwide Climate Service in Memphis, Tennessee, posted a pair of images of a tree that had its bark stripped after it was hit by lightning in Hamilton, Mississippi.
“Lightning strike utterly debarked this tree,” the company wrote.
The images had been despatched to the Nationwide Climate Service by Henry Adams, who describes himself on his Twitter account as “a educated storm tracker.”
Adams, who graduated from Mississippi State College in 1976, can also be a photographer and most cancers survivor, in response to his account.
