Jackson Trash Crisis: Garbage contract pulled, Richard’s to sue city

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson is dealing with yet one more lawsuit over trash.

At a particular referred to as assembly on Monday, the mayor pulled a request to convey on Richard’s Disposal, and introduced that the town was being sued by the corporate for failing to rent them.

The mayor is answering questions from residents now.

Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba says he plans to current an emergency contract to the council for consideration later this week to be in place whereas authorized points are being hammered out.
