Inmate found dead at East Mississippi Correctional Facility

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan confirms that an inmate was found unresponsive at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility on Saturday afternoon.

The identity and cause of death of the inmate have not been released.

The body has been sent off for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
