Hundreds attend special screening of “Till” movie in small Mississippi town

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A whole bunch of individuals within the small city of Mound Bayou, Mississippi, attended a particular screening of the film “Until.”

The movie retells the story of 14-year-old Emmett Until, who was killed by two white males for allegedly whistling at a white lady in Mississippi in 1955.

The movie is advised by means of the eyes of Until’s mom.

Particular company for the screening included Deborah Watts, who’s the co-founder of the Emmett Until memorial basis, and filmmaker Keith Beau-Shomp.

His documentary, “The Untold Story of Emmett Until,” prompted the FBI to reopen the case in 2005.
