Georgia 3-star 2023 center Gai Chol commits to Mississippi State basketball, Chris Jans
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State basketball coach Chris Jans began constructing his Class of 2023 in a giant manner Saturday with the dedication of Gai Chol.
Chol is a 7-foot middle out of Greenforest Mccalep Christian Academy in Decatur, Georgia. He’s a three-star prospect, in keeping with the 247Sports composite rankings.

Chol is the primary 2023 commit for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs nonetheless have a spot remaining on the 2022 roster.
Chol is the No. 23 middle within the nation, per 247Sports, and the No. 11 participant out of Georgia. He was primarily recruited by assistant George Brooks, in keeping with 247Sports, who Jans retained from Ben Howland’s employees.
Mississippi State was a part of a high seven for Chol which included Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Cincinnati and Wofford.
