Former Mississippi State DB Cameron Dantzler joined the Buffalo Bills in June. His future with the team is now uncertain.

The Bills announced Friday that Dantzler was waived with an injury designation. The club signed another cornerback, Kyron Brown, in a corresponding move for the 90-man roster.

Buffalo may not be done with Dantzler. According to Ajay Cybulski of Buffalo Rumblings, Bills GM Brandon Beane is open to having Dantzler on the team in the future.

A former second-team All-SEC selection, Dantzler has been playing professionally since 2020. He was drafted No. 89 overall by the Minnesota Vikings.

In 3 seasons with the Vikings, Dantzler played in 35 games, making 26 starts. He has logged 149 tackles and 17 passes defended, with 3 interceptions over his career.

Dantzler was waived by Minnesota on March 10. He then signed with the Washington Commanders but was let go on May 30.
