By JANET McCONNAUGHEY, Related Press NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Drought made the Mississippi River sluggish and led to a smaller than common useless zone within the Gulf of Mexico — an space the place there’s too little oxygen to assist marine life, the scientist who’s been measuring it for many years mentioned Wednesday.
