Dohm Dominates as Dawgs Down Cal, 8-4 – Mississippi State

Frisco, Texas – The Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-5) bounced again Sunday afternoon to win the third recreation of the Frisco Baseball Basic, defeating the California Golden Bears (7-3) by a rating of 8-4. Popping out of the bullpen within the fifth inning, Nate Dohm pitched 5 scoreless innings serving to the Dawgs shut out the Frisco Basic with a win. 
 
Dohm earned his second victory of the 12 months after getting into a tied recreation within the fifth inning. He completed the sport for the Bulldogs, working 5 full innings. Dohm held Cal scoreless from the second he entered the sport, gathering six strikeouts and permitting just one hit to the Golden Bears.
 
Amani Larry and Bryce Likelihood each had three hit days for the Diamond Dawgs offense. Larry went 3-for-4, with a double and solo dwelling run. Likelihood completed 3-for-5 on the plate, highlighted by a double of his personal. Luke Hancock and Kellum Clark each had two-RBI days for the State offense. Hancock completed 2-for-2 with a sacrifice fly and RBI double. Clark blasted a two-run homer that went 462′ to middle discipline.
 
The Diamond Dawgs return to Dudy Noble Discipline this week with a Tuesday matchup towards Valparaiso. First pitch is about for six p.m. and shall be broadcasted on SECN+.
