A person fishing off the Mississippi Gulf Coast was bitten by a five-foot shark Thursday.
Based on WXXV, the industrial fisherman whose id has not been launched was fishing west of Horn Island when bitten. He suffered 4 lacerations above the waist across the stomach space. The accidents have been reported as minor.
Horn Island, certainly one of Mississippi’s 5 barrier islands, is roughly 8 to 10 miles south of Pascagoula.
