Chris Lemonis wins 200th game as Mississippi State’s head baseball coach

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Mississippi State’s head baseball coach notched his 200th win at the helm of the storied program.

2021 College World Series-winning coach Chris Lemonis reached the milestone after the number fourteen-ranked Bulldogs beat the number five-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 8-5 in a crucial SEC series.

Canton native Dakota Jordan, who is having a spectacular sophomore season, led the Bulldog bats with three hits against the Razorbacks Saturday night, which included a home run. He also recorded three RBI.

MUS is 33-17 so far this season and has a conference record of 15-11.

Mississippi State will look to win the series in the rubber match on Sunday at Arkansas’ Baum-Walker Stadium.
