Baseball Powers Past VMI to Win Series – Mississippi State

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State (2-1) baseball workforce bounced again on Sunday afternoon as they earned a 9-3 victory over VMI (1-2) to take the collection. Within the win the Dawgs hit three house runs and had 5 additional base hits within the sport. 

MSU discovered themselves down early within the sport. After two and a half innings, VMI head a 3-0 benefit. The Diamond Dawg bats got here to life within the backside of the third. Amani Larry opened the scoring for the Bulldogs, sending a two-run house run to left. Larry completed 2-for-5 with 4 RBIs. Kellum Clark went 2-for-3 on the day with two solo house runs, the second time in his profession he hit two house runs in a single sport.
 
Landon Gartman drew the beginning for State, going 5 innings and hanging out eight, 5 of these being within the 3rd and 4th innings. A wild pitch allowed Larry to attain. Dakota Jordan hit a sac fly to middle to push Colton Ledbetter throughout.
