BankFirst Capital in Columbus, Mississippi, has agreed to purchase Mechanics Banc Holding in Water Valley, Mississippi.
The $2.2 billion-asset BankFirst mentioned in a press launch Thursday that it’s going to pay an undisclosed money quantity for the $331 million-asset Mechanics. The deal is anticipated to shut within the first quarter.
