An Entergy customer in Mississippi? Get ready for an $80 check or bill credit
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi Public Service Fee has introduced a $300,000,000 settlement with Entergy Mississippi.
Together with different issues, the settlement will produce money funds or invoice credit to Entergy Mississippi’s 461,000 clients.
The settlement with Entergy Mississippi and different events is said to 13 litigated proceedings earlier than the Federal Power Regulatory Fee.
Two-thirds of the settlement, in accordance with The Mississippi Public Service Fee, can be used to offset excessive pure costs attributable to international spikes in power markets.
Thirty-five million can be used for a onetime invoice credit score or verify of roughly $80 for every buyer.
The remaining $65 million will present further advantages that may mitigate future prices to clients.
