20-year-old utility company worker dies after touching live wire
PRENTISS, Miss. (WLBT/Gray News) – A man died on Tuesday afternoon while inspecting power poles in Mississippi, according to authorities.
The incident occurred while the power company employee was checking utility poles along Ray Street in Prentiss.
The 20-year-old victim was identified by Jefferson Davis County Coroner Dedra Johnson as Jayton Stahlhut
Stahlhut died after touching a live wire while working, according to the Prentiss Police Department.
Stahlhut was a worker contracted with the company EXO.
