13 Mississippi school districts selected to participate in school bus replacement program

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi Division of Environmental High quality chosen 13 faculty districts to take part within the 2022-2023 Mississippi Diesel College Bus Alternative Program.

• Alcorn College District
• Chickasaw County College District
• Cleveland College District
• Columbus Municipal College District
• Hazlehurst Metropolis College District
• Itawamba County College District
• Jackson County College District
• Jackson Public College District
• Lengthy Seashore College District
• Pearl Public College District
• Perry County College District
• Scott County College District
• South Panola College District

The 13 faculty districts will obtain a rebate of as much as $23,093 to exchange one older diesel faculty bus with a brand new one. Twenty-five faculty districts utilized for the substitute of 58 faculty buses.
