Video captures Miami Beach police takedown; suspect says cops were in the wrong
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 20-year-old vacationer says cellular phone video obtained by Native 10 Information, displaying Miami Seashore police taking him to the bottom and tasering him, depicts officers roughing him up unnecessarily.
However police are presenting a distinct story.
The incident occurred early Friday morning, at 900 Ocean Dr. in Miami Seashore, simply outdoors Mango’s Tropical Cafe.
The video exhibits officers slamming Franklin Flores to the bottom earlier than he’s tasered and handcuffed.
