Nashville SC returns from a week off to face Inter Miami and Lionel Messi for the third time this season.

Nashville (1-2-4, seven points) faces MLS Eastern Conference-leading Inter Miami (4-2-3, 15 points) Saturday at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (6:30 p.m. CT, Apple TV).

Inter Miami defeated Nashville 5-3 on aggregate score in the CONCACAF Champions Cup round of 16 in March. The first leg at Geodis Park ended in a 2-2 tie before the Herons won the second leg 3-1 in Fort Lauderdale.

Nashville defenders Walker Zimmerman and Shaq Moore will miss Saturday’s game. Zimmerman suffered a knee injury in the first leg against Miami, while Moore is out for a third straight match due to a hip problem. Winger Tyler Boyd (hip) and midfielder Randall Leal (hip) are both questionable.

Inter Miami will be without several key players, including left back Jordi Alba, a former Spain international, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Also out for the Herons are forward Leonardo Campana and Robbie Robinson, midfielders Facundo Farias, Federico Redondo and Robert Taylor, and defenders Ian Fray and Serhiy Kryvtsov.
