Joe Jonas files to dismiss Miami divorce case after Sophie Turner mediation
After four days of successful mediation, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner will handle their divorce in private.
The second-eldest Jonas Brother filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution in Miami Wednesday after he and the “Game of Thrones” star reached a temporary agreement regarding child custody, according to court documents obtained by The Post.
They determined earlier this week that they will split custody of their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
The children will spend roughly 20-day periods at a time bouncing between the US with Jonas and the UK with Turner.
The temporary agreement goes through Jan. 7, 2024. It’s been determined that the girls will spend Thanksgiving in the States and Christmas across the pond.
The Post has contacted reps for Jonas and Turner for comment.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK,” the pair reportedly said in a statement Tuesday. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”
The estranged couple’s nasty divorce has played out in the public since Jonas filed for divorce Sept. 5. The actress later alleged she was blindsided by the decision.
Last month, Turner filed a lawsuit against Jonas, accusing him of refusing to hand over their daughters’ passports to let the girls return to their “forever home” in England.
An interim consent order filed in Manhattan federal court had the girls staying in NYC for the time being.
The musician responded to the bombshell lawsuit via his rep, hoping that Turner would “reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner” and that “his only concern is the well-being of his children.”
The statement added: “The children were not abducted.”
Jonas and Turner married in May 2019. Their daughter Delphine’s name was unknown until it was included in legal documents pertaining to the divorce.
