Cleveland Guardians blank Marlins in Miami 8-0
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Ben Lively improved to 6-2 with 5 shutout innings as the Guardians beat the Marlins in Miami 8-0 Saturday.
Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez both homered for Cleveland (41-22).
Josh Naylor had 2 hits and 2 RBI.
Cleveland blew the game open with a 6-run fifth inning.
Carlos Carrasco (2-5) will start Sunday’s series finale for the Guardians.
