MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A Broward Sheriff’s Office sergeant was arrested Tuesday at Miami International Airport after being caught with drugs by Customs and Border Protection officials, authorities said.

According to his arrest report, Bryan Vidal Lorenzo, 35, of Tamarac, was in possession of suspected MDMA when his flight arrived at the airport.

Miami-Dade police said CBP officers advised them that they found the drugs in Lorenzo’s luggage, inside a ski pant pocket.

Lorenzo was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and importation of a controlled substance into Florida.
