NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – North Miami Beach police confiscated 40 motorbikes Wednesday night while executing a search warrant at a home, authorities confirmed.

A Local 10 News crew was outside the home in the 1400 block of Northeast 172nd Street as the motorbikes and scooters were being taken out of the home.

Police did not disclose whether the motorbikes were stolen or why they were seizing them.

Local 10 News reporter Samiar Nefzi said it appeared that at least seven people were detained around the property, including six in the back and a woman in the front of the home.

Police did not immediately confirm, however, whether any arrests were made.

A neighbor who lives across the street told Nefzi that “the house was vacant” and that “drugs and prostitution goes on there.”

More details about the investigation are expected to be released Thursday by authorities.
