2 teens shot in southwest Miami-Dade, 1 with outstanding warrants

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities are investigating a taking pictures in southwest Miami-Dade County.

It occurred Monday night time within the space of Homestead Avenue and W Indigo Avenue.

In line with Miami-Dade police, officers had been notified of the incident by a shot spotter alert.

Round a dozen photographs had been fired and two males, a 19-year-old and a 16-year-old, had been struck, police mentioned.

The 19-year-old was taken to a close-by hospital for therapy, and the 16-year-old was additionally taken to the hospital after initially refusing medical therapy.

Their accidents will not be thought of life-threatening, authorities mentioned.

Police mentioned they later decided there have been excellent warrants for the 16-year-old for battery with a firearm and for a minor possessing of a firearm.

The 2 taking pictures victims will not be cooperating with the investigation, police mentioned.
