South Carolina makes final 4 for 2023 4-star Maryland edge defender committing next month
After selecting up 36 scholarship gives, Desmond Umeozulu is nearing a call in his recruitment. On Wednesday, the blue-chip prospect from Maryland set his last 4 and a dedication date.
Umeozulu, a 4-star edge defender, revealed he will probably be deciding between South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio State and Pitt on Aug. 29. Umeozulu will make the announcement from his highschool auditorium that morning.

Listed at 6-6, 239 kilos, Umeozulu is the No. 3 Maryland product, No. 19 edge defender and No. 163 prospect total within the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. He visited South Carolina final month.
