BEL AIR, MD — The AMC Classic Churchville 7 officially closed its doors Sunday, leaving two movie theaters in operation in Harford County with one in Aberdeen and one in Fallston.

However, the former movie theater at 2708 Churchville Rd. won’t be vacant for long.

Paul Wenger, president of Flagship Premium Cinemas, tweeted that his company will be reopening a movie theater in that very same spot.

“Cinema is not dead! We are looking forward to not only filling a cinematic void for the community but offering a luxury and family-friendly theater experience for the area,” Wenger tweeted.
