Motorcycle crash shuts Maryland highway in both directions

A bike driver suffered life-threatening accidents after a collision involving a Montgomery County police automobile Thursday night.

The crash occurred about 7:30 p.m., a spokesman for the Maryland Transportation Authority Police stated, at mile marker 6.5 on Maryland 200, also referred to as the Intercounty Connector.

Authorities stated the motorcyclist seems to have collided with the police automotive. A passenger within the police automotive was hospitalized, with accidents not thought-about life threatening.
