Maryland Zoo suffers loss of Willow the giraffe: report

The Maryland Zoo suffered a “super loss” of the giraffe Willow.

The zoo revealed Willow’s well being started to say no final Friday upon experiencing gastrointestinal points, which ABC27 reported, isn’t unusual for giraffes.

Since Friday, her well being was carefully monitored. Although she handed away on Monday after exhibiting indicators of being in steady situation.

The zoo launched an announcement:

“This can be a super loss and we all know our members, friends, and mates really feel it too. Since her start, Willow has impressed pleasure and compassion in hundreds of individuals. She grew from a clumsy calf with ossicones that appeared like pigtails to a lovely icon of the Zoo and her susceptible species. Willow’s presence on the Giraffe Feeding Station, particularly, is one thing everybody will miss. We may go on about Willow’s goofy character and plenty of life milestones and know these matters shall be in conversations as we speak in our barns and your houses. We all know you perceive how particular Willow was and the importance of her loss. Thanks prematurely for becoming a member of us in mourning.“
