Maryland women cruise to victory in round 1 of NCAA Tournament

Abby Meyers scored 16 factors and Diamond Miller added 13 factors and eight rebounds as second-seeded Maryland rolled to a 93-61 victory over Fifteenth-seeded Holy Cross within the girls’s NCAA Match on Friday.

The Terrapins (26-6) scored the sport’s first 14 factors and cruised to victory. Maryland was in a position to give its high gamers loads of relaxation, with Miller, Meyers and Shyanne Sellers every enjoying just a little over half the sport.

Sellers had 13 factors and eight assists, and Brinae Alexander led Maryland in scoring with 18 factors.

Holy Cross (24-9) was led by Simone Foreman’s 13 factors.
