After a warmer-than-usual Christmas, the Baltimore region will see rainy and cloudy weather with mild temperatures most of the last week of 2023, according to the National Weather Service.

The day after Christmas will see a high around 50 degrees, with rain showers likely after 7 a.m. and patchy fog before 1 p.m. There’s a 70% chance of rain Tuesday during the day, with the likelihood rising to 90% in the evening, NWS said.

The rainy conditions will carry into Wednesday, with a 100% chance of rain. NWS estimates that the region will see between three-quarters to an inch of rainfall. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 50s.

The back end of the week will see mostly cloudy skies Thursday, with only a 30% chance of rain throughout the day. NWS predicts a high near 55 and a low around 37.

Showers may return Friday, with a 50% chance of rain. Friday will see a high near 48 and a low around 32.

The weekend should be cooler and drier. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 40s. And Monday — New Year’s Day — looks to be mostly sunny with a high near 43.
