A Maryland State Police trooper was arrested and charged with assault and a intercourse offense, authorities mentioned Saturday.

Trooper 1st Class Ryan Bandy was arrested by Anne Arundel County police round 4 a.m., state police mentioned in an announcement. Bandy, who has been a member of the Maryland State Police for almost 10 years, was most not too long ago assigned to the Westminster Barrack.
